Export Options
Incident data will automatically be exported to ESO when the “ESO RMS” integration type is active and linked to an ESO account.
Depending on the delivery method of CAD incidents being sent to IaR, incidents will be
exported to ESO as shown below:
Plain Text (SMTP/SNPP):
Anytime an incident is received, IaR will automatically export that incident data to ESO RMS.
IaR CAD Incidents API & Incident Creation Tool:
Incidents will automatically be exported to ESO when an incident status has been changed to “Closed”.
Closing an Incident & Incident Updates
Structured Incident Data:
When receiving structured incident data within IaR via the IamResponding CAD Incidents API, as the incident is updated within CAD, IaR will update the incident in real time.
Once the incident has been closed within CAD, IaR will reflect those changes and export the most recent version of the incident to ESO.
IaR Incident Creation Tool:
When an incident has been created within IamResponding, users have the ability to update the incident status to “Closed”.
Once the incident has been closed, IaR will reflect those changes and export the most recent version of the incident to ESO.

IaR Incident Update Tool (Coming Soon):
When receiving unstructured plain text incident data (SMTP/SNPP), IamResponding will export the original incident as received from CAD. Updates made within CAD will not be exported to ESO RMS.
Utilizing the IaR Incident Update Tool, users can manually:
- Update the status of an incident (“Open”/”Closed”)
- Add event comments to an incident
Incident status and event comments will be added to the incident data that has been exported to ESO.
Required Data Fields
For an incident to automatically generate as a draft in ESO when exported from IaR, incident data must contain the below fields. If these fields are not present, users will need to manually import the incident within ESO.
Additional Data Fields
When provided in the incident data, IamResponding will also export the following fields to ESO:
