Important message for any IamResponding users experiencing issues receiving timely text messages from IamResponding:
Text messages delivered from IamResponding are sent via SMTP from email to the carrier, and then the carrier delivers to the end user’s device. Some carriers have begun limiting messages sent via this method. We are continually monitoring this and working on alternate solutions, and this is a major reason why we provide simultaneous, redundant messaging pathways.
With respect to specific carrier issues, testing has confirmed that IamResponding outbound messages are being sent successfully. However, some carriers are no longer forwarding those messages onto end user devices
Your messages are still able to be delivered in a timely manner through push notifications to your IamResponding app and via email to your mobile devices. Please ensure that you have the IaR app properly downloaded and configured, and one or more email delivery address properly configured in your member profile. Thank you for your cooperation as we work to address any specific carrier issues.
Your App Push Notification is the most trusted method of delivery.
Please see the IaR-app-help guide to be certain your IaR App is up to date.
While the redundant text message pathway may be delayed or undelivered by your carrier, please remember that there are other options available to you. The IaR App Push Notification is always the dependable back up for pagers/radios.
Take a look at the Mobile Device Notifications guide for explanation and instructions.
