What is it:
Receive audio or text-to-voice alerts right in your station. You set the alert tones and whether the dispatch repeats.
Station alerting is an Audible Alert that can be played through the computer.
-Best results are with internal speakers or hardwired speakers.
-Wireless speakers are a fun option to test with and provide much opportunity for customization.
Where to find it:
Station Alerting is set up on the IaR Website on the main Dashboard
-using the Settings Gear for the CAD TEXT INCIDENT Tile, and/or
-using the TTD INCIDENT Tile audio dispatch alerting.
How-to:
In the settings for the Incidents (CAD Text or TTD) function, you want to activate the options shown in the images below.
We suggest activating all the options, and then pulling some back if you decide that you do not like them.

No audio
-Check the Sound Settings within the computer itself.
-If you have a Custom Ringtone, try one of the IaR-provided sounds.
Foreign Language Text to Speech
-Try another Alert Voice option.
Fun Tip
An Amazon Echo/Google Nest (Smart Home device) can be set up to hear the audio from the computer and then perform other smart home functions (light bulbs, garage doors, smart plugs, Ect..)
