Managing Your Regional TTD System
Overview
The IamResponding (IaR) Regional TTD Management system allows users to efficiently manage and monitor TTD for multiple agencies in one centralized location. This system is designed to streamline TTD management and ensure smooth integration with your IaR dispatch screen.
Accessing Your IaR Regional TTD Management System
Upon activation, users receive an automated email containing their login credentials. These credentials are case-sensitive, and users are assigned full admin permissions by default.
To enhance security, we recommend updating your login credentials by following the link provided in the automated email.
Key Features and Recommendations
1. System Usage Guidelines
- This system is primarily intended for TTD management and monitoring and should have a limited number of administrators for optimal security and efficiency.
- The system generates an API key, which must be entered into TTD to funnel detected calls into the TTD management system.
2. Creating Pager Groups
- Users can build Pager Groups for individual agencies using the dropdown menu within the system.
- The agencies listed correspond to those linked to your IaR dispatch screen, which overrides all Mutual Aid ID steps.
- Pager Groups should be created under the Regional TTD Subscriber and then shared with the RTTD account, as well as with any agencies that need to receive alerts.
3. Naming Conventions for Pager Groups
To avoid errors, it is crucial to use unique names for each Pager Group. We recommend including station IDs or numbers in the group name for clarity.
Example Naming Format:
✅ "32-Fire Calls" (Recommended)
❌ "Fire Calls" (Avoid – Duplicate names may cause errors)
By following these guidelines, users can efficiently manage their TTD system and ensure seamless operation across all connected agencies.
Step 1:Within the “Manage Pager Groups” (Admin Functions – TwoToneDetector Settings) Select the "Is Shared Pager Group?" checkbox under the subscriber and pager group information. This box must be selected. Pager groups should always be shared with the RTTD account and any agencies that need to receive alerts. |
|
Step 2:Once the box has been selected for shared pager groups, you will need to select any/all other subscriber agency that this pager group should be sending alerts to. |
Step 3:After the appropriate shared subscribers have been selected, you will need uniquely name and fill in the appropriate tone information for that specific pager group and then save. |
