IamResponding Incident Map Overview

When you select Respond & Map, you are taken to the Incident Map screen, where you can view critical information about the incident location, nearby resources, and your team’s real-time response. This screen includes a suite of tools to aid in locating, planning, and efficiently responding to incidents.
Jump to
Search Bar
- Located at the top, the search bar displays the incident’s address or GPS coordinates. IamResponding will pull coordinates from CAD if available. If CAD doesn’t supply them, it uses the incident’s address instead.
- You can also manually enter an address or GPS point here. For additional location options, toggle the search bar
to what3words mode, allowing you to locate an address using the unique three-word geolocation system. To switch back to a regular search, simply toggle again.
-
Search Bar Expand/Collapse Button: Use this button to easily hide or expand the search bar over the incident map.
