Enabling text messaging from IamResponding to your T-Mobile Device
T-Mobile has partnered with IamResponding to enable your IaR text messages to be delivered to your T-Mobile device via T-Mobile’s Enterprise Messaging solution. This is a much more reliable text messaging platform, and also allows for much longer content per message (4,000 characters instead of 135).
There is no additional cost to you for this feature, but there are steps that you will need to take both in IamResponding and on your mobile device to enable this.
Please also be sure to download the IamResponding app and to configure your app settings to receive your messages via push notification within the app, as that is the most reliable and effective way to receive your IamResponding messages.
T-Mobile steps to take in your IamResponding member profile:
1. Access your member profile online within your IaR system at Administrative Functions → Edit a Member. You can also access your member profile in your IamResponding app in the Settings page
2. Under “Contact Information,” enter your text message address in the applicable field as mobile#@tmobiz.com Do not put any spaces or symbols within your mobile number; just numerals
3. Under “Notify Others When I Respond,” if you have T-Mobile contacts there, enter their text message address as mobile#@tmobiz.com
4. Under “Emergency Contact Information,” if you have T-Mobile contacts there, enter their text message address as mobile#@tmobiz.com

Adding Enterprise Messaging on T-Mobile Individual Lines
Enterprise Messaging is a free feature that must be enabled to receive IamResponding alerts as text messages on your T-Mobile phone. You can add the feature yourself in the T-Life app by following the steps below, or by calling 611 from your mobile phone. If you call 611, you will need to be the primary account holder and know your account PIN. When you call 611, tell the representative that you would like to add the following SOC code to the list section on your account “ENTSMTP”.
