Emergency Contact Information Guide
Emergency Contact information can be stored in each member’s profile for quick reference. Custom fields (e.g., blood type, preferred hospital) can also be added to tailor the information to your needs.
How to Input Emergency Contact Information
On the IaR Website (For Admin/Self-Service)
Log in to the IaR Website.
- Navigate to the member's Profile.
- Scroll down to the Emergency Contact Information section.
- Populate all relevant fields (including any custom fields).
- SAVE the information.
On the IaR App (Self-Service)
Open the IaR App.
- Go to Settings > User Profile and Credentials.
- Scroll down to the Emergency Contact Information section.
- Tap Edit (top right corner).
- Populate the fields with the relevant details.
- Click SAVE, and then DONE to exit the Agency Settings.
Where to View Emergency Contacts
Members must have the required Permission to View Emergency Contact Information set on their profile to see other members' details.
On the IaR Website (Admin View)
Go to Administrative Functions > Member > Select a Member
- Select the field Emergency Contact Information
On the IaR App
Scroll down the left-side menu.
- Go to Emergency Contacts.
- Select the Member.
How to Message Emergency Contacts (Permissions Required)
Members with proper permissions can send internal messages to emergency contacts via the App.
- Access the Emergency Contacts section (using the steps above).
- Choose the member whose emergency contact you want to message.
- Scroll down to find the option to Send text & email message to this member's emergency contacts.
- Here see the option to send the same text & email message to ALL emergency contacts of ALL members.
Custom Fields for Emergency Contacts
If you need additional fields like blood type or preferred hospital, Administrators can create Emergency Contact-Custom Fields through the IaR Website. This ensures you collect all necessary non-default information.
To add Custom Fields go to the IaR website and sign in with administrative credentials. Navigate to Settings - Add Member Profile Fields. Here, select the options for your new custom field.
