This article provides a guide for users who are having trouble logging in to their IamResponding (IaR) account. It explains that login credentials are case-sensitive and offers two main options for recovering them: users can recover their credentials themselves through the IaR website or app by using the "Can't Sign In?" or "Forgot your credentials" links, or they can have an IaR Admin from their department resend the credentials. The article also provides a step-by-step guide for credential recovery on both the IaR app and the website.
Accessing the IaR App on a New Device
To use the IaR App on your new phone or tablet, simply download the latest version from your device's app store. You can use your existing credentials to log in.
Recovering Your IaR Login Information
If you're having trouble logging into your account, remember that your login name, username, and password are all case-sensitive. You must enter them with the correct combination of lowercase and uppercase letters.
If you are not certain about your login credentials, please follow these steps when convenient for you:
- On the website login page, click the Can't Sign In? button.
- On the IaR App login page, use the Forgot your credentials link.
This will only work if your email address is accurately included in your profile.
You may get an error that says, "Token invalid", if the Credential Recovery Email has timed-out. Please repeat the Credential Recovery process. Ensure that you are going to the most-recent email that you may have received.
You may receive an error that says that your login has been, "Blocked for 15 minutes". The best way to solve this is to have one of your agency's in-house IaR Admins manually change your USERNAME & your PASSWORD, and then provide the credentials to you directly.
If you still need assistance after following this process, please reach out to one of your agency's in-house IamResponding Admins.
- IaR Staff are not permitted to provide credentials over the telephone or through email.
- If you are the sole IaR Admin for your agency, please contact our Support Team and let them know that you are the only IaR Admin within your agency's account. We can work with you to recover your credentials.
Important Note for Apparatus Credentials
Apparatus credentials are only compatible with the IaR App on Android and iOS devices. They will not work on other operating systems, such as Windows.
