What is it:
Formal or informal crew scheduling means you’ll know before an incident happens whether sufficient personnel can respond.
Where to find it:
We have two different ways of entering your availability onto the On Duty section of IaR.
Standard Shift and Quick Shift
Both are located on the IamResponding Website and IaR App.
On the Website-
You will see the icons on the top right corner of the On Duty Tile.
The Standard Shift is the CLOCK. The Quick Shift has the Lightning Bolt added to it.
On the App-
You will see the options after opening the Left Side Menu of the App.

How-to:
Take a look at the video provided in the Helpful links:
A Standard Shift
-These include a Start Time and an End Time.
-Typically, a Standard Shift is added in advance of the designated start time.
-These shifts can be set on a recurrence.
You can add other members to this shift if there are multiple people working the same timeframe.
A Quick Shift
-These dynamic shifts start when you start them (not on the :00, :15, :30, :45, like a Standard Shift)
-Your Availability or Unavailability can be added with an UNKNOWN end time.
The Avail/Unavail. feature is great for very dynamic agencies but need to be kept accurate. Otherwise, the On Duty schedule will quickly display incorrect information.
Troubleshooting:
Edit/Delete shifts of other members.
-A member with permission to do so can Edit/Delete the shift of other members within the agency.
This can be done on the Website and App.
Under the section to add a Standard Shift you will see where you can select other members.
Select the member whose shift you would like to Edit/Delete and proceed as you would to change your own shift.
Fun Tip:
-A member with permission to do so can TRANSFER a shift from one member to another.
This makes shift swapping very easy, without the need to delete and re-add the same shift again.
